January 2010
We are off to a great second semester! We successfully returned students to
their home campuses in January after they maintained a 2.5 GPA, and acquired 15
credits—the minimum number they would need to be back on track and graduate in
four years. This year we expect to
return better than 95% of our students to their home campuses by the end of the
semester as juniors. The first
year of student uniforms has also been a success. The number of discipline referrals has decreased, and quite
honestly the students look great!
Remember, you can access your student’s attendance, grades
and discipline through our Power School system. Access is available around the clock, offers you up to date
information regarding your students’ progress, and allows you to communicate
with teachers and staff should you have questions or concerns. If you do not
have access to Power School, simply contact our IT department at 708-585-2347.
Second Semester Credit Recovery begins Tuesday February 16th.
